We Have Arrived!

Departure from San Diego

It is great to be back in Beijing ... pollution and all.  It was a long, but happily uneventful trip.  Beautiful Grace met us as the airport.  There was so much luggage that the hired van took the baggage and three women to the hotel and Grace and the others came to the hotel in a separate taxi.

After dropping our suitcases in our rooms, we 'retrieved'  some money from the ATM in the hotel building.  There is a large grocery story located in the basement of the hotel where we bought a case of water for each room.  The group was happy to see that there is a Starbucks in our hotel building.
Arrival at Beijing Airport

A very tired group of women went to bed early.  Tomorrow we have the day off to acclimate to the time, go to the Silk Market, and review our teaching.  We have a very full schedule and it was wonderful to see familiar names on the timetable.

  2. Well, I'll give this another try! LOL Glad you all made it ok. Don't worry about "home" as God has everything under control here. Been praying for your bodies to catch up with the time, your health and wisdom as you bring God's love to China. You all were ordained to be in China at this time. God went ahead of you to prepare the hearts of those you will minister to. He planted and now it's time for you to water. What an exciting time for you all.
Love and Prayers coming your way!

  3. Hello Ladies!
You're probably getting ready for bed but today is my day to pray! I began yesterday so I could pray for your activities on March 1st China time. You've been in my daily prayers and Greg has been good to forward pictures and e-mails. I'm praying for those who were introduced to the gospel during your trip to make that decision to follow Christ and the workers there are encouraged and refreshed. May these last days in China be fruitful and God will overflow your cups with blessings! Love you all and praying for a "smooth" flight home. Get rested up...we'll be anxious to hear your stories of what God did through you.
    Love and Prayers,
    Cathy
